The Buddhaland Manifesto

“We’re all Buddhas. We just don’t recognize it.”
– Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche

Our current world presents humanity with unparalleled challenges, ranging from attention economy, wars, misinformation, polarisation, to anxiety over AI. All these phenomena threaten our mental and spiritual well-being.

As a consequence, we humans have become more fragile, depressed, and lonely. We are at the turning point of humanity. In this chaotic time, what kind of humans do we want to be, and what kind of world do we want to build for ourselves and future generations?

To address these challenges, Buddhaland has come into being. Dedicated to empowering humanity in today’s world with art, spirituality, and technology, Buddhaland is a unique community for those who are seeking spiritual growth and committed to the betterment of humanity.

Buddha means “awakened one” in Sanskrit. Buddha-nature is inherently within each of us, which manifests boundless wisdom, love and compassion, and capability. We are guided by the key principles in Mahayana Buddhism:

– Every being is equal because we are all inherently Buddhas.
– All beings and things are interrelated and interdependent.
– The right life goal is to improve oneself and benefit others.

We see humanity at the centre of the synergy of art, spirituality, and technology. Art is a tangible expression of human consciousness; spirituality is a human quest for a higher purpose beyond ourselves; technology enables humans and opens up new possibilities.

The Buddhaland Ecosystem consists of three major components:

1. A dynamic platform that nurtures art creation inspired by spiritual themes across diverse cultures and explores ArtTech developments.

2. Interdisciplinary dialogues between spiritual masters, scientists, tech and business leaders on improving mental health and humanity.

3. Expertise in identifying and supporting meaningful causes, ensuring resources are effectively directed towards initiatives that drive positive change.

We can all be Buddhas!
