Five Light Yoga Meditation with Khenpo Tsering
Daily 9-10PM Hong Kong Time, 2-3pm Central European Time
Khenpo Tsering (Sange Dorje) grew up in a devout Buddhist family and became a Buddhist monk at the age of nine. His older brother is recognised as the reincarnation of a high Tibetan Buddhist master. After completing his studies at Karma Lekshey Ling Monastery in Nepal, Khenpo Tsering earned a doctorate in Buddhist Philosophy and a master’s degree in Meditation. He now teaches Buddhist philosophy at Karma Lekshey Ling Monastery. He has over four years of experience teaching international students.
Five Light Yoga Meditation is a method developed by Venerable Choje Lama Phuntsok, the founder of Karma Leksheyling Institute, from whom Khenpo Tsering received direct transmission. The practice incorporated the basics of tantric practices “Six Dharmas of Naropa”, visualising chakras and five lights, and simple yoga movement. It is ideally suited for individuals who have a basic understanding of key Buddhist concepts.
The full course requires a three-year commitment. The seven-day session provides an introduction to the body, breath, mind, and the outer and inner yoga aspects of the practice. If participants demonstrate readiness, they will be guided to explore the secret yoga practice at a later stage.
